Change in transportation charges for shipments to/from the Netherlands
Effective July 1, 2026.
Dear Clients,
Starting July 1, 2026, the Netherlands will introduce a toll for commercial vehicles, which will affect transport charges to, from, and within the Netherlands.
What this means for you:
- toll charges will now be included in transport charges
- for shipments originating in Central and Eastern Europe, this change may increase transport costs by approximately 5–6%
- for shipments within the Netherlands, we expect transport costs to increase by approximately 8%

Since tolls are a standard component of the total price of transport, we will incorporate this increase into our prices once the official rates are published. Increases in transport charges for full truck load shipments and less than truck load will be handled individually.
