New requirement in Poland

Starting March 17, 2026, textile and footwear products will also be subject to the SENT system in Poland.

Starting March 17, 2026, Polish authorities are implementing an important legislative change concerning the transport of textiles and footwear. These items will now fall under the SENT (System for Electronic Transport Supervision) monitoring system, which aims to increase transparency in the supply chain and reduce tax evasion.

What does this change mean for transport operations?

When transporting selected textile and footwear products to Poland, from Poland, or within Poland, it will be mandatory to report to the SENT system and provide the necessary data.

To ensure proper clearance of shipments, shippers must provide complete SENT information prior to loading. Without this data, it is not possible to load the shipment for transport to or from Poland.

We recommend

We recommend that retail and wholesale companies adjust their internal processes in a timely manner so that their shipments comply with the new regulations and proceed without operational delays. If necessary, please do not hesitate to contact our sales manager, who will be happy to advise you on the proper configuration of your processes.
